Chloé Delarue
Chloé Delarue (b. 1986) lives and works in Geneva (Switzerland).
A graduate of Villa Arson (Nice) and HEAD (Geneva), Delarue creates composite environments combining natural elements, assemblages of natural objects, and digital image-generating devices. In connecting these different materials which are emblematic of our urban environment, Delarue forms a kind of hybrid, organic and mechanical body, like the product of the unconscious of our postindustrial societies. Mixing fields of influence, scientific and social theories, and tribal myths, her work formulates a syncretic, anachronous and magical way of thinking about the contemporary world.
