Fucking Good Art
Two Dutch artists hide behind this somewhat provocative name, Rob Hamlijnck and Niencke Terpsma. The first is a conceptual artist using writing and language as his formal vocabulary. The second is a graphic designer and photographer and integrates his “day job” as a graphic designer in an artistic practice relating to the art world and its codes. The Fucking Good Art collective came into being in 2003 from the desire to create a fanzine of art criticism, entirely designed and imagined by artists. This practice, initially at the margins of their main activities, gradually gained scope over the years and recently developed into an itinerant editorial project that led them from Copenhagen to Sao Paulo, via Berlin, Riga and Tbilisi. Their publications are clearly situated on the “outsiders” side, and their research focuses on alternative models. At the Parc Saint Léger, they want to develop an online and editorial project based on the question of peripheral artistic sites in France.
